I love Podcamp, Barcamp, Wordcamp, Nerdcamp, Beercamp, GrilledChreesecamp, Summercamp, Coffeecamp, Sleepcamp, and all of the other camps. So much FREE knowledge absolutely smashed into 30 minute increments. We all come away with teeny tiny nuggets of the session you signed up for. Here’s my suggestion for both speakers/presenters and session attendees: ask questions. Anyone can take a mic and talk about what they know. Hell, I could talk about cherry Kool Aid for 2 hours but that would probably not provide ANY value to you - unless you are as big of a fan of cherry Kool Aid as me. Podcamp isn’t (to me at least) about preaching and grandstanding. It’s about providing assistance by providing knowledge. I need you to ask questions, I want you to ask questions and even more specifically want you to ask the hard questions. Don’t lob softballs b/c you’ll get softball answers. Bring your A game and let’s both learn something. Sign up for my session here and I look forward to meeting you personally.
