Humblebragging
A form of self expression where the promotoer thinks he/she is, almost subliminally, bragging about themselves in the context of a humble statement or complaint.
Everyone else listening thinks he/she is a jackass.
Examples:
“Traffic was a bitch today, I could only get my Mercedes up to 100 mph”.
Gary Vaynerchuk said it best:
“When someone says something nice about you, and you retweet it, you’re bragging, asshole!” -@garyvee
